KÈMI Studio Appointment & Cancellation Policy 


Appointments

All services at KÈMI are by appointment only. To secure time with your preferred stylist, we recommend booking in advance, particularly for weekends and peak periods, as availability is limited.

Deposit Policy

A 20% deposit is required for all bookings, including haircuts and chemical services.
This deposit secures your appointment and will be applied to your total on the day of service.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

More than 48 hours’ notice
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with no penalty.

24 to 48 hours’ notice
Your deposit will be forfeited.

Less than 24 hours’ notice or same day cancellation or no show
Chemical services: your deposit will be charged
Haircut appointments: the full cost of the haircut will be charged

To reschedule or cancel, please contact the studio directly by phone.
Email cancellations are not accepted.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.

Missed Appointments and Repeat Cancellations

Clients who miss appointments or cancel repeatedly may be required to pay a 100% deposit for all future bookings.

Surcharges

Sunday surcharge: 10%
Public holiday surcharge: 15%

Important Information for Chemical Services

To ensure the best results and a comfortable experience, please review the following before your appointment:

For bleaching services, please avoid washing your hair for at least two days prior to your visit.
For regular colour services, washing your hair beforehand is fine.
Please avoid using colour depositing shampoos or treatments before your appointment.
Try not to scratch or irritate your scalp in the days leading up to your service.
We recommend avoiding expensive or delicate clothing, as chemical products may cause permanent staining or discolouration.
Bleach appointments typically take six to seven hours. You are welcome to bring entertainment, food, and snacks to stay comfortable throughout your visit.

Please note that last minute cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours will result in a forfeited deposit for chemical services, or a full charge for haircut only appointments.
